Apple Butter Bars

Mix Together:
1/2 cup butter, melted 1 cup whole grain flour
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Press mixture into an 8" x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees fro 10 minutes.
Spread On:
2 cups apple butter or pear butter.
Mix Together:
1/2 cup butter, melted 1 cup whole grain flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup oat bran
Press gently onto apple butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
HINT: Sugar free baked goods need to be stored in the refrigerator as they tend to spoil more quickly.
