CHIPOTLE Bread Spread / Dip Mix
Some like it a little hot! Real Mexican chipotle peppers give this delicious spice mix a bit of heat. So versatile that we have constant "aha" moments when it comes to finding uses for this spice mix!
Ingredients:
Minced garlic, sweet papirika, chipotle powder, celery salt, herbs and spices.
Sandwich Spread Directions:
Blend contents of packet with one cup sour cream mixed with one cup of mayonnaise.
Allow to stand thirty minutes; spread on good bread.
Excellent on a turkey or chicken with avocado sandwich.
Dip Mix Directions:
Blend contents of packet into one cup sour cream mixed with one cup mayonnaise and allow to stand 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
Serve with cut-up vegetables such as sliced red and yellow peppers and broccoli flowerets.
Chipotle Toast Directions:
Stir contents of packet before measuring out 2 1/2 teaspoons of spice mix.
Blend the 2 1/2 teaspoon spices with one cup softened butter, and allow to stand 30 minutes. (Seal remaining spices for another use.)
Spread on French or other good bread and toast under broiler about 3 minutes until browned on edges.
Serve in a breadbasket for dinner.

Chipotle Orange Glaze Recipe
Ingredients:
2 C. Fresh Orange Juice
5 T. Cinnamon Honey
1/4 C. Soy Sauce
2 T. Finely Grated Orange Rind
2 t. Chipotle Bread Spread and Dip Mix
Cooking Directions:
Boil all the ingredients, except the grated orange rind, in a heavy, medium saucepan until reduced to 2/3 cup, about 20 minutes.
Mix in grated orange rind Grill chicken, pork or other meat until cooked thoroughly.
Brush meat all over with glaze and grill 2 minutes more.
Chipotle Parmesan Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
1 C. Mayonnaise
1/2 C. Sour Cream
3 C. Parmesan Cheese
2 t. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Packet Chipotle Bread Spread and Dip Mix
1 Purple Onion, finely chopped
9 Slices Bacon, fried crisply and crumbled
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and spread on rye bread rounds.
Broil for 3 minutes or Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes til brown on the edges.
Arrange on a platter and serve hot.
This recipe can also be placed in a small casserole and baked at 400 degrees for 30 minutes and served with crackers or bread.
Chicken Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Chicken Breast halves, simmered gently 15 minutes and cooled.
1 C Celery, sliced
1/2 C Golden Raisins
1 Small Yellow Pepper, diced
1/4 C Almonds, sliced
6 Pieces Bacon, fried crisply and crumbled
For Dressing:
1 C Mayonnaise
2 T. Fresh Lime Juice
2/3 C. Mango Chutney
2 T. Chipotle Bread Spread and Dip Mix
Directions:
Cut up chicken breast, add additional ingredients and stir in dressing. A delicious salad served on bread squares or Belgium endive lettuce for an appetizer.
Chipotle Ranch Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
1 C. Mayonnaise
1 C. Sour Cream
1/2 C. Fresh Cilantro, chopped
6 T. Fresh Lime Juice
4 Green Onions, chopped (optional)
1-2 T. Chipotle Bread Spread and Dip Mix
Directions:
Whisk all ingredients to blend. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Great on top of hamburgers or as a salad dressing.
Chipotle Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients
Idaho Potatoes or Sweet Potatoes
1 Package Chipotle Dip Mix
Directions:
Cut up potatoes and lightly toss with olive oil and then sprinkle in chipotle mix and toss again to coat. Bake at 400 degrees about 25 minutes, or use a grilling basket and roast the potatoes in your weber grill for extra charcoal flavor.
